TANGO HOLIDAYS WITH JENNY & RICARDO ORIA
We are really delighted to be able to offer these holidays and look forward to welcoming you to a week of tango, relaxation and fun in this beautiful area. The hotel is set on the edge of Altea, just 200 metres from the historic centre, and yet also feels very rural, with sweeping mountain and coastal views.
The area offers plenty of opportunities for exploration. There are the pictureque narrow streets of Altea, the sea views and coastal walks and some stunning mountain scenery more inland. We think this might be our best tango holiday yet! The hotel is based on the site of a 300 year old olive farm. It has a lovely restaurant, is family owned and very friendly.

Jenny & Ricardo will offer a programme of progressive tango classes for a group of up to 30 people, including morning and evening classes and daily milongas, plus small group sessions and extra practice time for those who would like, always allowing plenty of time for other holiday activites too!
The holidays are for 7 nights. There will be plenty of tango, but also plenty of time to relax and enjoy the holiday. In the afternoons, everyone will be free to decide what to do.

There will be a welcome introductory session early in the evening of the first day. On most of the other days, there will be a morning class for 2 hours, an evening class for 1 hour after dinner and some informal social dancing. The afternoons will be free to explore or relax. There will also be one day free in the middle of the holiday, and the opportunity for a small group session towards the beginning of the week.

The classes will be given by Jenny & Ricardo Oria, experienced dancers and teachers who have been working together since 2002. In the tango classes there will be a balance between technique, connection, musicality and new ideas and inspiration for the group, with the aim to help all the particpants achieve a lasting improvement.

About the teachers
Jenny and Ricardo Oria are a talented, authentic and inspiring Argentine Tango couple. They teach “Tango de Salón”, which is Tango for the dance floor.
They are friendly, approachable, detailed in their explanations, and attentive to the group and the individual.

Their performances have been described as elegant, pristine, glowing, full of warmth, spectacular, engaging, joyful, spellbinding and with deep simplicities.
They are often to be found in different places all over the UK and abroad. Since 2002 their base has been Edinburgh-Scotland.
